Christmas Eve 2011

Because
your heart is so full

fine wine, friends
their lifelines
conversations
laughters
bitter sweetness

because
the majestic sight
of water crystals in love
of orchids blooming
on our window ledge

we know the coming of
great big days

On Ancient Poems

Sometimes I wonder
how
few words express
an ocean

Our ancestors
did they know more
or did
their trillions sensory cells
tremble
trillion times
more

observing the same starry sky
the seasons
mountains and rivers
lucrative growths
everything
nature still breathes

We use
more words
to describe
to confine

one or two things June two three twelve a.m.

showering tonight
thinking Luo Hui
winter break in New Zealand
while summering
in hemisphere north
seasons are
being
forgotten

do we feel the same tremors
north and south
when earth stretches
a 5.0
yawn

"how steve and jennifer met"
a paper mache camp fire
a miniature gift
a wedding
bicycling his way
barriers G20 2010
Tomio
in his esplanade condo
up thirteen floor
still
feels
the shake

took me years to understand
but felt always
your words
simple magic

morning, radio music, french or english
showers upstairs
thinking butterflies
women murdered
manifested
morphed

05202010_for Malgozata

reflections, passing traffic flash on my wall
on Alice's photos of Jaune
comes the noise of a bus panting
a woman walk north holding her child's hand
come more buses, cars turning
the eternal corner
of Gladstone and Peel
